Dr. Chu of The StoryLab Gives Talk to TAMU ESPY

On January 22, 2018, Assistant Professor Dr. Sharon Lynn Chu of The StoryLab in the Department of Visualization gave a talk at TAMU EPSY to HCI researchers from across various disciplines. Dr. Chu presented her research lab’s latest on-going efforts titled “Wearables for Learning: Examining the Smartwatch as a Tool for Situated Science Reflection”. The work focused on novel ways that her research lab leverages wearable technologies to enhance classroom learning. The work is a multi-year effort and will be presented later this year at CHI 2018, the premier conference on human-computer interaction.
